Band Tee Tuesday: Drivin N Cryin

Who are you repping on Band Tee Tuesday?  I’ve got Drivin n Cryin, who have a new record coming out this year.  Aaron Lee Tasjan (formerly Madison Square Gardeners, Everest, New York Dolls) produced the album.  We’re looking forward to its release this summer.

Drivin N Cryin tour regularly.  Their current set includes a solid blend of older hits, tunes from Kevn Kinney’s solo albums, and fresh songs.  Collaborating with Tasjan revived the band and their sound.  Over the last several years, DNC hired stellar young guitar monsters to join the band.  Tasjan played, then South Carolinian Sadler Vaden (Jason Isbell, Leslie), and currently Laur Joamets AKA Little Joe (Sturgill Simpson).  All of these players kept the band moving forward, not just reveling in their past success.
