What happens when 2 noted American songwriters join together with a legendary English songwriter, and sometimes collaborate with a Canadian folkie-turned-electric?  Beautiful songs, drama, and some of the most memorable music of a decade.  Hence, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and sometimes Young.

Their first 3 albums, Crosby, Stills, and Nash (CSN), Deja Vu (CSNY), and CSN (CSN), celebrated their collaboration.  Working together also elevated their solo careers.  With such talented musicians combining forces, clashes became public.  Often the best way to combine all of those egos onto one album, was to record entirely separately.  All 4 continue to create meaningful, vibrant, politically conscious art, including live performances.
