As part of our Deep Dive road trip across Texas, we’re digging in to Hayes Carll’s 2011 album, KMAG YOYO.  This album highlights a raucous departure from Carll’s earlier folk songwriter records, and contrasts with his more recent serious records.  His Texas sense of humor tempers the careening conflict of his personal life at the time, resulting in a fun album that’s like watching a ping pong ball speed up as it bounces inside a box.
