The Comet has a free & easy way for you to get to the baseball games without worrying about parking!

Columbia, SC (April 13, 2019) The Fireflies and The COMET has partnered together to create the Soda Cap Connector Route 3.  This route is a shuttle designed to serve attendees with a ride from downtown corridors to the Bull Street Development for free during Columbia Fireflies game days.

Soda Cap Connector Route 3 will operate along Laurel, Sumter, Gervais, Assembly, Main, Richland and Bull Streets to Segra Park.  The service would begin 1 hour before the game up to 1 hour after the game, with one bus operating approximately every 25-30 minutes.

Customers can flag the bus down along Laurel, Sumter, Gervais, Assembly, Main, Richland and Bull Streets to Segra Park.

Soda Cap Connector Route 3 would begin 1 hour before the start of a Fireflies game and end 1 hour after a Fireflies game.

• A 2:05 p.m. game would have service from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• A 6:05 p.m. game would have service from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• A 7:05 p.m. game would have service from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

This new route benefits the Columbia Fireflies as it seeks to decrease traffic and manage parking.
