Happy Barenaked Ladies Day Toronto

Happy Barenaked Ladies Day Toronto. But not bare, naked ladies, that would be cruel. The Canadian rockers have come a long way as a band in their 30 years, from literally being banned from performing outside city hall to having a day dedicated in their honor.
Toronto Mayor John Tory has designated October 1st, 2018 as Barenaked Ladies Day to celebrate the band’s commercial achievements over the last three decades, including selling 15 million albums and winning eight JUNO awards.
Earlier this year, BNL’s original lineup reunited for their induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
Frontman Ed Robertson told CityNews that the honor is “crazy”, recalling how the band was prevented from playing at Nathan Phillips Square in 1994 because the city thought their name to be “questionable.”

Harkening back to one of their massive hits, what would you do with a million dollars? How excited were you to see Steven back with the band, even if for one day?
