Harriet Hancock Center

Columbia hosts South Carolina’s only LGBT* resource center, the Harriet Hancock Center. The Center offers support groups by age and affinity, as well as support for parents and grandparents. This November, the Harriet Hancock Center will celebrate 25 years with a gala event at the Columbia Museum of Art.
Watch for the Harriet Hancock Center parade participants in World Pride Day in NYC on 6/30/19!
Because of our “famously hot” weather, Columbia celebrates Pride in October.
