Irmo Okra Strut Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Music, Food, and Fun

The 50th Annual Irmo Okra Strut is set for September 27 and 28 at Moore Park in Irmo.

What began in 1973 as a modest arts and crafts fair has now grown into a major event, drawing around 25,000 people each year. The festival offers live music, a parade, arts and crafts booths, carnival rides, and delicious food.

This year’s lineup includes performances from Simply Shania, Cowboy Mouth, Say Femme, and Absolute Queen. The festival will take place rain or shine, and guests are encouraged to arrive early on Saturday for the parade.
