For Paul Simon‘s 4th solo studio album, he channeled gospel music and Dixieland jazz.  Still Crazy After All These Years includes collaborations with Art Garfunkel, Phoebe Snow, and the Jessy Dixon Singers. Simon omitted one song that he recorded for the album, “Slip Slidin Away”.  Simon later released that tune on a Greatest Hits compilation, that interestingly included two “new” songs.

We highlighted 3 songs from this recording:  “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover,” “Slip Slidin Away,” and “Gone At Last.”  The title track became a huge favorite of Willie Nelson fans for his version.  The two legendary songwriters have been friends for decades.
