Singer Fiona Apple and Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme have joined an all-star tribute concert for the late Chris Cornell.
Announced Tuesday, the last-minute additions are part of a roster that also includes Foo Fighters, Metallica, Ryan Adams, Miley Cyrus, Brandi Carlile and Chris Stapleton. The surviving members of Cornell’s bands — Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog — are also expected to perform.
“I Am the Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell,” hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will be staged Wednesday at The Forum in Los Angeles. Proceeds will benefit the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation and the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.
Who would you like to see perform at the tribute concert? Which song from Cornell’s three-band career do you think best represents him?
