Passenger Wears 5 Pounds Of Clothes To Avoid Airline Fee

Overweight baggage fees can take a bite out of travel budgets, so one quick-thinking traveler had a plan to save her hard-earned cash.

Gel Rodriguez needed to lessen the load in her suitcase from 20 pounds to under 15, so she pulled out 5 pounds of clothes and started dressing at the airport.

According to The Sun, the woman shared a photo to Facebook where she appears to have donned at least three tops, two pairs of pants and four cardigans.

In the caption Rodriguez writes, “From 9kg to 6.5kg baggage #ExcessBaggageChallengeAccepted”, earning the support of others who have been in her position.

How do you combat extra fees when traveling?
